Sunshine Promotions has increased the VIP capacity to facilitate the needs of patrons.

St. George’s, Grenada - April 17, 2019: In catering to the requests of local and visiting Buju Banton fans, Sunshine Promotions - producers of the Long Walk to Freedom tour in Grenada - has made a limited batch of additional VIP tickets available through GO2FETE.com from 12 noon today.

VIP tickets for the sixth leg of the Buju Banton Long Walk to Freedom tour, which will be held at Grenada’s National Cricket Stadium on May 11, were sold out more than one month ahead of the event’s date. Due to sustained interest and the demand for VIP tickets locally, regionally and throughout the diaspora, Sunshine Promotions has consulted with Victory Bar and Restaurant, caterers of the VIP experience, to best facilitate the needs of the people. As such, the VIP offerings will be expanded to allow for a limited number of additional patrons. Victory Bar and Restaurant affirms that its staff can comfortably cater to the additional patrons, which will allow those interested the chance to be a part of the VIP experience at this once-in-a-lifetime event.

The VIP experience includes reserved vehicle parking, private access into the venue, front-stage access, premium drinks and food. There will be four food stations available to patrons on the night. The Cocktail Canapes Station, which will be served from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, includes quiches, samosas, spring rolls, sausage rolls, veggie sushi, crispy chicken, chicken tikka skewers, curry-glazed meatballs, pastries, cupcakes and key lime pie. The Pasta Station, which will be served from 10:00 PM until, includes penne pasta and bow-tie pasta to be served with tomato sauce, bolognaise sauce and seafood sauce. The Soup Station, which will be served from 1:00 AM until, includes corn soup (both vegetable and pork) and lambie waters. Lastly, the Buffet Station, which will be served from 1:00 AM until, includes beef sliders, couscous salad, salt-fish with roasted coconut and fried bakes, west indian fried fish with chili potatoes, chicken tikka masala with basmati rice, caribbean beef pepper pot with calypso rice and pork shoulders served with chinese dumplings and pickled vegetables.

Ticket sales continue to climb as Grenada prepares for the highly anticipated return of Buju Banton to the local stage. Residents in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom started securing their tickets from the time of the event announcement was made in January. Sunshine Promotions anticipates that this year’s Night of Love event will not only boost Grenada’s tourism during the off-season, but will also positively impact related service industries including but not limited to local guesthouses, Airbnb's, hotels, restaurants and car rentals. Though its commitment to culture, Sunshine Promotions remains confident in its ability to elevate the standard of events within Grenada and the region.
