SMC GROOVY MEDIA RELEASE

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, TUESDAY, July 08, 2014: The largest contingent of Artistes in the history of the Groovy Monarch Competition has registered with Spicemas for the 2014 Groovy Competition. Over one hundred (100) artistes have registered to vie for a position in the competition carded for the National Stadium on Fantastic Friday.


Artistes will dip for positions on Thursday 10 July, at the Spicemas Office located at the National Stadium. The quarter final starts this Friday 11, July and continues on Saturday 12 and Sunday13, July. The quarter final will be held in Club Spectrum, Victoria, in St. Mark starting at 8 pm every night.


The General Manager of Spicemas Corporation has indicated that the quarter final leg of the competition provides an opportunity for the artistes to showcase their work. She noted that the Groovy has had tremendous growth over the last few years.


The list of artistes and their respective nights of performances will be released on Friday following the dipping process.
