The preliminary rounds of the 6th Annual Courts OECS Reading Competition continued today,22nd  September at the St. Andrew’s RC Rectory, St. Andrew’s featured the students of District3.

                                        

The day’s participants were as follows:

  • ·       Rebecca Bennett                  Holy Innocent Anglican
  • ·       Ciara Andall                         St. Andrew’s  RC School
  • ·       Shamara Paul                       Holy Cross RC School
  • ·       Reshanna Henry                  St. Matthew’s RC School
  • ·       Chrishell Gabriel                 St. Giles Anglican
  • ·       Francis Gordon                    St. Andrew’s Methodist
  • ·       Kenya Alexander                 Paraclete Government School
  • ·       Liccia James                         St. Mary’s RC School
  • ·       Mikaela Prince                     St. Andrew’s Anglican Primary

 

 

 At the end of the day’s proceeding the students topping the first round were as follows;

  • ·       Francis Gordon                        St. Andrew’s Methodist  –   268 points
  • ·       Rebecca Bennett                      Holy Innocent Anglican –  254 points
  • ·       Ciara Andall                             St. Andrew’s RC School –   245 points

 

 

Francis Gordon will go on to represent District 3 at the final of the Courts Reading Competition.
